Winnipeg police have arrested and charged a man after a daytime shooting in the south Osborne area on Tuesday.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the area of Nassau Street South and Taft Crescent at around 2:15 p.m. He was taken to hospital with upper body injuries and is listed in critical condition.
Police located a vehicle related to the incident a short time later near Rue Archibald and Marion Street.
Gage Alexander Hale, 21, of Winnipeg was taken into custody and has been charged with attempted murder and numerous firearms-related offences.
Hale remains in custody.
