Goldeyes Acquire Pugh, Place Jackson on Inactive List

Winnipeg Goldeyes LogoThe Winnipeg Goldeyes have acquired outfielder Tillman Pugh from the Gary SouthShore RailCats in exchange for cash considerations.

The 26-year-old played in 32 games with Gary, hitting .240 with a home run and 13 RBI.

At the same time, the Fish have placed outfielder Nic Jackson on inactive list due to a leg injury.

The Goldeyes have 22 players on their active roster, including 12 pitchers and 10 position players.

Winnipeg begins a six-game homestand and three-game series against the Amarillo ThunderHeads tonight at Shaw Park. Game time is 7 p.m.
