Four downtown Winnipeg businesses have won accolades for their design sense.
The third annual Commerce Design Winnipeg contest, hosted by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ and StorefrontMB, awards emerging design culture throughout the city.
“The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is thrilled to continue its partnership with Commerce Design Winnipeg as it promotes the importance of attractive storefronts and why they are essential elements for a vital city and a vibrant downtown,” said Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
“When businesses keep in mind the importance of well-designed spaces, both patrons and our city win.”
This year’s downtown winners are Lunch Bell Bistro (Liane Veness Architect), Smith Restaurant (Mckinley Burkart), Yoga Public (Belinda Albo) and The Merchant Kitchen and Bar (Stantec).
Winners outside of the core are Green Apple Skateboard Shop (Jon Ferrer) and Beet Happening (Urbanink and Ben Borley).
