A woman crossing the intersection of Arlington Street at William Avenue was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday evening.
The crash happened at around 6:25 p.m. when the woman was walking eastbound. She was transported to hospital in critical condition, where she later died.
The woman didn’t have identification on her at the time, but appeared to be Asian and in her 60s, police say.

No charges have been laid at this time.
It was the second fatal pedestrian collision of the day. Oanh Pham,33, was killed while crossing at the corner of King Street and Logan Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Pham was a volunteer at Siloam Mission.
