Woman Sexually Assaulted in Fort Richmond Park

Winnipeg Police CrestA 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a south Winnipeg park on July 29 and police are looking for a suspect.

The alleged assault occurred in the area of Killarney Avenue and Dalhousie Drive at around 6 p.m. Police say the woman was approached by an unknown man who began making inappropriate comments. As she was preparing to leave, the woman was sexually assaulted, police say.

The suspect is described as East Indian in appearance, mid 20s, chubby build, light moustache, wearing baggy jeans and a long sleeve black shirt.
