Extras! Extras! Dennis Quaid Movie Looking for Winnipeggers

An upcoming feature film being shot in Winnipeg is looking for a good men and women to be extras.

A Dog’s Purpose” stars Dennis Quaid and will see production in the city from August to October. Kari Casting is looking for 2,000 paid extras for the shoot.

The DreamWorks family movie is based on the New York Times bestseller book written by W. Bruce Cameron. The film also stars Peggy Lipton and Britt Robertson.

An open casting call will be held Sunday, August 9 at the Fairmont Winnipeg. No experience is required and both males and females of all ages are encouraged to come out.

Stand-ins and photo doubles will also be hired for the main cast.

Extras earn $11.75 per hour and are expected to work one or two days.

The drop-in casting session will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Application forms will be available in person or downloadable from the Kari Casting website.
