WINNIPEG — You might mistake Kildonan Place Shopping Centre for the zoo this week when Safari Jeff pays the mall a visit.
The “Triassic: Dawn Of The Reptiles Tour” will invade centre court today until Sunday as part of a coast-to-coast tour.
The tour features a number of live creatures, including lizards, snakes, frogs and tortoises.
“The success of the latest Jurassic Park movie shows that people are still intrigued by dinosaurs,” said Kildonan Place marketing manager Corey Quintaine. “This show gives kids and grown-ups a look at how many creatures we see today have their roots in prehistoric times. It’s the perfect solution for the mid-summer cries of ‘Mom, I’m bored!’”
The free shows will run twice daily, beginning today and Friday at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Showtimes Saturday and Sunday are 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
