WINNIPEG — Asphalt resurfacing will temporarily close a portion of Sturgeon Road this weekend.
The city says the closure will affect northbound and southbound traffic at the Ness Avenue intersection from 6 a.m. Saturday until 10 p.m. on Sunday, August 16.
During this closure, eastbound and westbound traffic on Ness Avenue at the Sturgeon Road intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
In another closure, the Louise Bridge will be closed to traffic from Saturday at 6 a.m. to Monday at 6 a.m. for structure inspection, deck repairs and annual maintenance.
The east sidewalk will also be closed. The west sidewalk will remain open to pedestrians.
Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
