Bark in the Park is September at Shaw Park. (HANDOUT)
Calling on dog owners, the Winnipeg Goldeyes want you to bring your pooch to the ballpark on September 2.
Bark in the Park will include various dog-themed entertainment, prizes, giveaways, and pet-related vendors with treats for furry fans.
“Goldeyes games are about fun, family entertainment, and pets are an important part of many families, so it only makes sense to include these furry family members in all the fun while also helping to support such a worthy cause as the Winnipeg Humane Society,” said Sam Katz, Goldeyes president and CEO.
The night will be presented by the Winnipeg Pet Show, which runs October 24-25 at the RBC Convention Centre.
“The Goldeyes Bark in the Park event is the perfect partnership to help us celebrate the launch of our new show,” said Sherri Rheubottom, show manager, Showtime Productions Inc.
Tickets for Bark in the Park are $12 each and include admission for one adult and one dog, plus a free dog treat bag. Waiver forms for dog owners must be filled out showing proof of vaccinations. Dogs are only permitted in designated areas outlined by the Goldeyes.
