A man barred from possessing any connected electronic device has been arrested after snapping photographs of children.
RCMP say they were called to the beach at Nutimik Lake Campground last Saturday for a suspicious man photographing children.
Police say David Thomas Pearson, 33, of Winnipeg was on conditions of an undertaking at the time, including not to possess a computer, and not to use or possess any electronic device able of accessing the Internet.
Police found a smartphone and tablet in his possession — both capable of access the Internet — plus a laptop computer in his car.
Pearson remains in custody and has been charged with three counts of failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking.
