Police Seize $180K in Marijuana from Winnipeg Home

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police have seized 160 marijuana plants valued at nearly $180,000 after executing a search warrant on Wednesday.

Police searched a home in the 300 block of Boyd Avenue, where they also seized $5,000 in grow operation equipment, and $7,735 in cash.

A 49-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both from Winnipeg, face several drug-related charges.

They were released on promises to appear.
