Winnipeg Grandmother Pushed, Robbed in Home Invasion

Winnipeg Police CrestA Winnipeg grandmother was pushed to the ground and robbed inside her own home on Thursday evening.

Police say the victim had been at home with her grandchild in the 1st 100 block of Highbury Road when two male suspects entered through an unlocked door at around 5:30 p.m. With their identities concealed, the suspects ransacked the house and fled with personal property.

The woman wasn’t injured, but remained on the floor during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as black, between 25-30 years of age, 5’5” tall with a muscular build and some facial hair. The only description available for the second suspect is being 6′ tall.
