Police Hunt Winnipeg Transit Bus Cell Phone Thieves

Police are searching for two men alleged to have stolen cell phones out of the hands of two Winnipeg Transit passengers.

The robberies occurred July 27 when a woman was sitting on a bus at Mountain Avenue and Arlington Street at around 10 a.m. She was approached by two unknown men, when one of them grabbed her phone and fled.

The second robbery took place at 11:30 a.m. on a transit bus at Inkster Avenue and Arlington Street. A woman’s phone was grabbed from her hand and the suspect fled.

In both cases, neither of the victims suffered any injuries.
