Assiniboine Park was to be rockin’ tonight with live music, beer gardens and food trucks. But those plans are off.
Extreme weather has forced the Assiniboine Park Conservancy to cancel the second annual Sound & Sky Benefit Concert, with headliners Hedley and special guests Sloan and The Proud Sons.
Funds from the concert were to support the Red River Co-op Summer Entertainment Series at the park.
Those who purchased tickets for $34.95 will be able to receive refunds. Information on how that will be accommodated will be made available next week.
