All Liquor Mart locations will be closed Monday, September 7. Most Winnipeg and Brandon Liquor Marts will be open extended hours Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Regular hours are in effect Sunday, September 6.
City of Winnipeg
All civic offices are closed on Monday, September 7.
Recycling/Garbage Collection
Recycling, garbage and yard waste will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Monday as a collection day. Hours for the Brady Road Resource Management Facility (Brady Road Landfill) are as follows:
Saturday, September 5 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 6 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, September 7 — 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Winnipeg Transit
On Monday, September 7, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Leisure Centres
All Leisure Centres will be closed on Monday, September 7.
Regular hours are in effect for Leisure Centres on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6 with the exception of St. James Civic Centre pool and fitness facility which is closed on Saturday, September 5, Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7.
Libraries
All Winnipeg Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, September 7.
Effective September 8, Winnipeg Public Library’s summer hours end and regular hours resume.
Animal Services Agency
Closed on Monday, September 7. Saturday and Sunday hours are noon to 5 p.m.
Cemeteries
Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries will be open for visitation from dawn until dusk over the Labour Day long weekend including Monday, September 7.
