A 53-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged after police executed a search warrant at his Whyte Ridge residence on Wednesday.
Police received information from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and began their investigation.
The man was arrested in the 100 block of Vineland Crescent without incident.
He has been charged with accessing, possessing and distributing child pornography.
He was released on a promise to appear.
