Winnipeg police say foul play is not suspected after the discovery of a woman’s body in the Red River on Thursday.
Police responded to the river on the east side of Provencher Boulevard and Tache Avenue at around 6 p.m., north of the Provencher Bridge.
Results of an autopsy and the identity of the deceased are pending.
The missing persons unit is continuing to investigate.
