A male pedestrian was killed Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle on the Perimeter Highway.
RCMP say the incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. on the Perimeter north of Gunn Road when a van struck the victim.
He was taken from the scene severely injured and succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The driver of the van wasn’t injured. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The name of the deceased isn’t being released.
