The Who has postponed the remainder of their North American tour, including an upcoming show in Winnipeg, after Roger Daltrey contracted viral meningitis.
The band was to perform October 8 at MTS Centre, but have since postponed all shows until next spring.
“We are very sorry to disappoint our fans in this way,” Daltrey said in a statement. “I am now on the mend and feeling a lot better but I am going to need a considerable time to recover.
Tickets for the original dates will be honoured for the new shows, which will be announced shortly.
