Macdonald Youth ServicesWINNIPEG — A new partnership with The Home Depot will see a gazebo and seating area built on the grounds of the Youth Resource Centre.

Macdonald Youth Services has teamed up with the retailer for the joint project to enhance their Mayfair campus.

“We are so grateful to have this gift from the Winnipeg The Home Depot team,” said Dr. Erma Chapman, CEO of Macdonald Youth Services. “Their commitment to improving the lives of youth in our community through this Service Day of Caring is inspiring and exemplary corporate social responsibility.”

Rodrigo Reyes, store manager for The Home Depot’s St. Vital location, says helping out inches the organization closer to ending youth homelessness in the community.

Associates from five local stores will construct the new structure on September 30 at 159 Mayfair Avenue.
