Boys and Girls Clubs to Receive Minivan Donation

Boys and Girls Clubs of WinnipegThe Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg is receiving a much-needed van today.

The fully restored 2014 Chrysler Town and Country is being donated by Boyd Autobody & Glass.

“This vehicle is critically needed by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg for transporting children and youth to and from activities, and will ensure they are able to participate in many unique opportunities,” said Ron Brown, president and CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg.

The vehicle was written off by Manitoba Public Insurance and restored to pre-accident condition as part of the Boyd Miles of Smiles program, which provides support, both financial and otherwise, to charitable organizations that are committed to making a difference in the lives of those in need.

The organization will get the keys to the vehicle during a presentation at 4 p.m. today at 951 Henderson Highway.
