Fear the Sliding Dead

Fun Mountain waterpark will be transformed into a spooky setting for a nearly week-long Halloween event.

Fear the Sliding Dead is a live action role play zombie apocalypse guided tour taking over the Winnipeg area park from October 25-31.

“We wanted to create something truly terrifying,” said Jamie Hall, one of the organizers. “Tanya and Darius (Fun Mountain’s owners) are always on board for new ideas, so when we came up with Fear the Sliding Dead, they were immediately on board. We can’t wait to scare the life out of Winnipeg.”

The approximately 20-minute tour will take groups of 15 people on a journey as they prepare to “kill” zombies. Food and drink will be served after, if you end up surviving the scary ordeal.

Organizers say the experience will include live actors, blood, screaming, fire, and the sound of gunshots.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 14.
