An executive from Uber will be in Winnipeg this week to discuss the ride-sharing service with the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.
Chris Schafer, public policy manager for Uber Canada, will engage in an interactive information session on Wednesday, October 14.
Schafer will address the opposition the company has faced in some Canadian cities, plus highlight its benefits and the current challenges for the company.
The session will be broadcast live on the Chamber’s Periscope feed from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
