Winnipeg Police CrestWINNIPEG — Pinkham Elementary School is locked after an injured man was found nearby Wednesday morning.

Police were on Reitta Street, where reports say the man might have been shot. Police haven’t confirmed that.

The Winnipeg School Division placed the school under a “hold a secure,” meaning no one can enter or leave the school. Regular classroom activities are continuing as normal.

The West Alexander area school will remain locked until further notice, the division says.

Police haven’t provided further details on the situation.
