An open house on Wednesday will provide an opportunity for Winnipeggers to learn about the new Pacific Avenue 4R Winnipeg Depot.
The depot is scheduled to open in late 2016 and is a drop off spot for material that can be recycled, reused, composted, or resold.
The 4R Winnipeg Depot will be located on Pacific Avenue, between McPhillips Street and Weston Street. It’s the second such depot in the city, building on the planned facility at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility (expected to open in late 2015).
Citizens can drop in at the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, 999 Sargent Avenue, tomorrow between 4-8 p.m. Those unable to attend can join the conservation by going to the city’s website or e-mailing wwdfeedback@winnipeg.ca.
