The Winnipeg Goldeyes have signed outfielder Logan Vick from the Amarillo Thunderheads for the 2016 season.
The Texas native comes in exchange for right-handed pitcher Rett Varner.
In 87 games for the Thunderheads last season, Vick batted .308 with 13 doubles, eight triples, three home runs, 34 RBI, and 38 stolen bases.
“We are thrilled to have Logan be a part of our club,” said Goldeyes manager Rick Forney. “He is an athletic outfielder that can play all three outfield positions.”
Varner pitched to a 3.00 ERA in 35 relief appearances for the Goldeyes after the club acquired him from the Laredo Lemurs on June 17 in exchange for cash.
