Two lanes of the Plessis Underpass will open to traffic on Saturday, October 31 on Plessis Road between Dugald Road and Kernaghan Avenue.
The project includes an underpass of the CN rail line located north of the Plessis Road and Dugald Road intersection.
Other components of the project include land drainage system improvements, active transportation facilities and upgrading Plessis to four lanes from two.
