The city’s tourism agency has launched a new website meant to boost visits and economic dollars to Winnipeg.
Tourism Winnipeg’s website now allows visitors to build custom itineraries, and explore curated content on all of Winnipeg’s tourism assets, such as restaurants, hotels, and attractions.
“Websites are the most captivating way to tell the destination’s story, and this site is chock-full of inspiration for all our markets,” said Chantal Sturk-Nadeau, senior vice-president for Tourism Winnipeg.
“This new site is a game-changer in terms of how we’re viewed as a leader in attracting visitors to Winnipeg.”
The website also features a responsive element for mobile and tablet visitors, and a user-generated content component, meant to curate images that highlight the city through first-hand accounts.
TourismWinnipeg.com receives 800,000 annual visits and 3,000,000 annual page views.
