Winnipeg police have laid charges against a man they say was responsible for 13 break-ins at businesses in the Weston area.
Police began their investigation in mid-October, in which a variety of tools and equipment were stolen from locked and fenced compounds.
A local business owner, and victim of the thefts, reached out to residents and fellow businesses in the area in an attempt to assist police.
Investigators say the break-ins occurred between June 28 and November 1.
David Pescitelli, 55, of Winnipeg has been charged with 13 counts of break and enter. He remains in custody.
