A new Winnipeg Jets calendar is raising funds in support of Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter.
Jets’ wives and girlfriends have created the charity calendar, featuring snapshots of players with the animals the shelter cares for. The calendars will be sold at Jets Gear stores beginning November 12.
The wives and girlfriends will also be on MTS Centre concourses selling the calendar for Jets home games on November 18, 21 and 23.
Sales from the calendar are hoping to raise $20,000 for the shelter, which is Manitoba’s first registered charity no-kill animal shelter.
