Toy donations are needed this holiday season at the North End Family Centre.
New, unwrapped donations for children aged newborn to 13-years-old are being sought this year to give to children at two Christmas parties in early December.
The centre will host the two community parties on December 2 and 3 at St. John’s Cathedral, 135 Anderson Avenue.
“This event is always the highlight of our year,” said Kyle Mason, the centre’s executive director.
“It’s wonderful to see the smiles on everyone face’s as we all enjoy the Christmas season together but we need the support of the larger community to help make it a success.”
More than 500 meals will be served over the two days, and each child will go home with a brand new toy.
