Two people have been charged after allegedly abducting and assaulting a youth in Lac du Bonnet.
Manitoba RCMP say the incident happened November 10 and the youth was able to escape and get help from passers by. The victim suffered minor injuries in the assault.
A man and a female youth have been arrested and charged with assault and forcible confinement. Police say they believe the incident was targeted and the public was never at risk.
Both suspects have been released on a promise to appear. Their names aren’t being released to protect the identity of the victim.
