Manitoba’s Bothwell Cheese has come out on top as the champion again at the British Empire Cheese Show.
The local company has placed first in the marbled cheddar category at the 88th annual show in Belleville, Ontario.
Bothwell also took first place with its Monterey Jack and second place with its medium coloured cheddar.
“We continue to place well in this competition and that says volumes about the consistency and quality of our cheese,” said Bothwell Cheese president Kevin Thomson.
“Our team takes pride in what they do, from production through to packaging; care is taken every step of the way.”
The cheese show is presented by the Central Ontario Cheese Makers Association.
