Winnipeg police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a poppy donation box from a St. Vital store on November 4.
Police say the man entered at around 10:25 a.m. and went to the customer service counter. He turned down assistance from staff and grabbed the donation box, concealing it under his jacket.
He fled the store and staff gave chase, but couldn’t catch him.
The suspect is described as a caucasian, 20-30-years-old, 5’8” tall, medium build, short light brown hair, wearing a black winter jacket, black pants, a Winnipeg Jets scarf and black shoes.
