Nutcracker’s Walk-On Roles Stacked with Notable Winnipeggers

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s upcoming production of “Nutcracker” will include 12 special guests to grace the stage in walk-on roles.

Our very own managing editor Chris D. will join Travel Manitoba president Colin Ferguson on stage later this month.

The show runs December 19-28 at the Centennial Concert Hall.

Other guests include:

  • Eleanor Coopsammy and Terri Apostle (CTV)
  • Miss Lonely Hearts (Winnipeg Free Press)
  • Lloyd the Intern (103.1 Virgin Radio)
  • Wab Kinew (Associate vice-president, Indigenous Affairs at the University of Winnipeg)
  • Sheila North Wilson (MKO Grand Chief)
  • Jenna Rae and Ashley Nicole (Jenna Rae Cakes)
  • Natalie Bell (PegCityLovely)
  • Constance Menzies (Chocolatier Constance Popp)

Tickets for Nutcracker start at $29 for adults and $25 for children and can be purchased at rwb.org, in person through the RWB office at 380 Graham Avenue or by calling (204) 956-2792 or toll free 1-800-667-4792.
