Two-time Olympic gold medallist Cassie Campbell-Pascall will head up a group of more than 300 female minor hockey players Saturday in Winnipeg.

The six-time IIHF Women’s World Champion and Sportsnet broadcaster is part of the Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest, where young players will participate in both on- and off-ice training sessions. Campbell-Pascall will also keynote a speech about the importance of teamwork.

The players range in age from seven to 14.

The day-long session takes place at the MTS Iceplex. Similar events are being held in other cities across Canada.
