Selkirk Man Killed in Head-On Crash with Dump Truck

RCMP Crest LogoA 53-year-old man from Selkirk was killed Thursday after his vehicle collided head-on with a dump truck.

RCMP say the crash happened at around 5 a.m. on Provincial Road 230, just north of 67 near Selkirk.

The driver and lone occupant was travelling southbound at the time when he hit the truck heading northbound.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the dump truck wasn’t injured.

Police are continuing to investigate.
