Passenger traffic at Winnipeg’s James Richardson International Airport rose by 1.04 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Consolidated revenue was $27.4 million for the fourth quarter, compared to $26.5 million for the same period in 2014. Earnings before interest, depreciation and taxes were $11.1 million, compared to $10.8 million for the same period in 2014.

“Working closely with our airline, business and community partners continues to be a key element in the growth and improvements at the airport,” said Barry Rempel, president and CEO of Winnipeg Airports Authority.

“Looking ahead, our community will benefit from WestJet’s new international service to London, England beginning this spring.”
