Following the roughly 5 cm of snow Winnipeg received Wednesday, city crews will hit the streets at 7 p.m. to plow regional streets.
Crews will also clear sidewalks on regional streets, and sidewalks on bus routes and collector streets.
Anti-icing activities were carried out on bridges and underpasses last night in anticipation of this morning’s precipitation. Overnight salting operations also targeted regional streets, as well as non-regional bus routes and collector streets.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when driving near any snow-clearing equipment or sanding trucks.
