Police Raid Half-Million Dollar Eaglemere Grow-Op

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police raided a grow-op in the city’s Eaglemere neighbourhood on Wednesday, valued at more than half a million dollars.

A search warrant was executed in the 100 block of Deering Close, where a 57-year-old man was arrested.

Police found 488 marijuana plants valued at $546,560, and grow-op equipment worth $13,600.

The man faces charges of producing a scheduled substance and possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He was released on a promise to appear.
