Winnipeg police are looking for a woman who approached a child on her way to school this week.
The 11-year-old girl was walking in the area of Farmingdale Boulevard and Lindenwood Drive East on Wednesday when a vehicle pulled up beside her. Police say the driver said, “I’m driving you to school, come on get in, get in.”
The child refused and the vehicle was last seen turning westbound onto Lindenwood Drive.
The driver is described as a black woman, approximately 40-years-old with shoulder length black, curly hair.
The vehicle she was driving is described as being a smaller, black four-door car.
Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
