Winnipeg police busted three marijuana grow-ops on Monday, seizing over half a million dollars in marijuana.
Police executed search warrants at the following locations:
200 block of Tecumseh Street
199 marijuana plants — estimated street value of $222,880
Grow operation equipment — valued at $8,490
700 block of Toronto Street
160 marijuana plants — estimated street value of $179,200
Grow operation equipment — valued at $6,590
500 block of Toronto Street
95 marijuana plants — estimated street value of $106,400
Grow operation equipment — valued at $12,150
In total, police seized an estimated $508,480 in marijuana.
Two men, both 42, have been arrested and face several charges. They were released on promises to appear.
