
Eric Robinson
NDP MLA Eric Robinson will seek re-election in the northern Manitoba riding of Keewatinook.
Robinson has been deputy premier since 2009 and has served a number of portfolios, including minister of aboriginal and northern affairs and minister charged with the administration of the communities economic development fund, the minister of culture, heritage and tourism and the minister responsible for sport and recreation.
“Eric has been a strong voice for Indigenous peoples and the North for over 20 years, and we are proud that Eric is running to continue to make northern Manitoba a better place,” NDP leader Greg Selinger said in a release.
Manitoba voters head to the polls on April 19.
