Manitoba Hydro plans to interrupt power to about 550 customers in Brandon on Sunday.
The outage will be staged in two parts, with the first outage starting at 7 a.m. until approximately noon in the area from 26th Street east to 20th Street and from McTavish Avenue south to Park Avenue. Approximately 350 residential and commercial customers will be affected.
The second outage starts at 2 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. in the area from 26th Street east to 19th Street and from Victoria Avenue south to McTavish Avenue. Approximately 200 residential and commercial customers will be affected.
The outage is part of a $4.6 million project to modernize electrical distribution in Brandon.
