Winnipeg police shifted their attention Friday to a home in Valley Gardens in connection to the search of missing teen Cooper Nemeth.

The 17-year-old has been missing since Sunday morning.

Police were seen at a home in the first 100 block of Treger Bay. A property search shows the home is part of a Manitoba Housing unit.

Officers with the homicide unit removed items from the home and also had a grey Cadillac parked in the back lane towed away.

Hundreds of volunteers have spent days searching neighbourhoods across the city and even communities outside of Winnipeg looking for the teen. The Gateway Recreation Centre has been acting as the headquarters for coordinated search efforts and flyer distribution.

Nemeth is described a Caucasian male, 6’0” tall, 170 pounds, average build with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jacket with a River East Marauders hockey logo on the front, black pants, and brown skater runners.

The website findcip.com (Cip is Nemeth’s nickname) and the #findcip hashtag on social media are being used to provide the latest information.
