Manitoba Hydro will cut power to Winnipeg’s Wolseley neighbourhood on Wednesday for up to two hours.
Beginning at 9 a.m., power will be disrupted to:
• Portage Avenue to the north
• Alloway Avenue to the south
• Maryland Street to the east
• Canora Street to the west
Approximately 800 customers will be affected.
The outage is so Hydro works can replace cables in the area’s local distribution network.
Some customers just outside the boundary area may experience two five- to 10-minute outages, at the start of and end of the two-hour outage, as Hydro shuts off and then re- energizes the affected area.
