Residents living in Winnipeg’s Elmwood neighbourhood will experience a brief power outage on Sunday.
Manitoba Hydro says the service interruption will affect approximately 800 customers Sunday morning as the utility switches the area’s electrical supply over to the new Martin Avenue substation.
The outage is scheduled to start at approximately 6 a.m. and last for about 30 minutes.
The approximate boundary of the area that will be affected by the outage is as follows:
- Harbison Avenue East and Kent Road to the north
- Beach Avenue to the south
- Panet Road to the east
- Gateway Road to the west
Hydro says a few customers located outside the boundary area might also be affected.
