A Winnipeg police officer has been placed on administrative leave after internal theft allegations.
Police say the 25-year-old officer is a two-year member of the service and was the focus of an investigation by the Professional Standards Unit over several internal thefts in the past few months.
The officer, who hasn’t been named, faces multiple theft-related charges.
He was released on a promise to appear.
