No Arrests in Fatal Main Street Assaults

Winnipeg Police CrestA 43-year-old man is Winnipeg’s latest homicide victim after two separate assaults early Sunday.

Police were called to the 800 block of Main Street at around 3 a.m. for the assault, which sent the victim to hospital in critical condition.

Police say the victim was assaulted twice within a short period of time by two separate people.

The first suspect is described as a woman in her mid to late 30s with long black hair tied in a ponytail. The second suspect is described as a man in his early 20s with an average height and build.

The victim has been identified as Henry Kipling of Winnipeg.
