WINNIPEG — A new online tool has been launched for Manitoba entrepreneurs to help them easily find business assistance in the province.

The Biz Grid was created by the Business InfoCentre (BIC) at the World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg).

“There’s plenty of resources in our province to help entrepreneurs at all stages of their business but they don’t always know where to go or what’s available for them,” said WTC Winnipeg president and CEO Mariette Mulaire.

“Now they can explore the province’s many resources in one place by visiting the Biz Grid,” she added.

Joelle Foster, Futurpreneur’s Canada director for Manitoba, says her organization has helped 50 businesses launch in the last 10 months.

“We think with Biz Grid we will be able to assist even more entrepreneurs as it is one more place they can find us,” she said,

Entrepreneurs using the free service answer a series of questions based on their needs and are matched with a column of providers. They can click to be redirected to their website and find out further information about how they can be assisted.

The Business InfoCentre team supports Manitoba entrepreneurs and business leaders, whether they are starting up a company or ready to expand.
